But what if you're new to computing? What if you don't understand the terms being used or even know where to turn for advice about how to start?

After a few easy lessons you'll wonder why you waited so long.
We will instruct you in your own home.
Using your own computer or laptop.
If you haven't purchased a computer yet we will provide one that will suit your learning objectives for use during your lessons.
We will also help you to choose the most suitable piece of equipment when you are ready to buy.
What We Do
We work with individuals in your own home, on your own equipment, on a 1 to 1 basis.
Our style is to gently guide you whilst following your chosen agenda.
There is no formal training course, just a stroll through the features that you wish to understand and master, at your own pace and in your own home.
Exercises and homework can be set, according to preference. Notes are provided as appropriate.

Most importantly you will begin to understand how and why your computer does what it does but without all the confusing technical terms and jargon.

Who We Teach
Our teaching is aimed at building confidence and the independence to explore your computer to its fullest.
People of all ages benefit; from adults who are relatively new to computing to senior citizens who want to send emails and understand the internet.
Particularly for the Over 50's
We find our service particularly appeals to those over the age of 50 who haven't grown up in this technological era.
Our 1 to 1 training sessions take away the intimidation of a classroom and the tuition is fun and enjoyable. You can ask the most appropriate question for you and learn exactly what you wish to learn.
In a classroom situation the numbers are often large with others are vying for attention. Often the subject matter isn't relevant to your own needs and the equipment quite different from your home setup.
Using your own computer whilst being taught is a real boon. If problems arise, they are quick to be dealt with and easily understood.

Timeframe
Lessons are typically an hour and a half in length with a minimum booking time of one hour.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 until 5:00. Weekends and evenings by arrangement.
